Bahter’s site currency is Sents; you use them to both price what you are offering and to purchase anything anyone else has that you want, if you aren’t able to agree a swap. The value of Sents in terms of real money varies, based on the quantity sold every day, and the current exchange rate is displayed on every page in the ‘Exchange Rate’ box. At launch, each Sent was worth 1 Thai baht, and every day, the new value is calculated from the previous day’s sales of Sents. This has two main benefits; firstly it allows everyone to ‘play the market’; secondly, it allows everyone to get cash when they need it, as long as someone wants to buy their Sents.

To encourage more people to join, we are offering Sents as a reward for attracting new members, as well as the Sents you are get when you register. For every new member joining with your unique code, you get another 100 Sents.

In addition to this, there are a variety of other ways to earn more Sents, which you can find listed here. Sents are only available to buy or sell in The Vault section of the site, and members can list Sents there easily, for a very small percentage fee if they achieve a sale.
